Pallet Buying Guide

If you haven’t purchased custom wooden pallets before, there are some things to keep in mind
so you get the right product for your facility.

Things to Consider Before Purchase:

  • Pallet delivery address
  • How the pallets will be unloaded (dock, ground, flatbed or van trailer)
  • The minimum quantity per order for this size pallet
  • How often this quantity is ordered
  • Pallet type needed: new or recycled
  • Maximum total weight to be placed on pallet (approximate)
  • Exact pallet specs or disposal needs
  • Need to use pallets for export

New pallets are made from new lumber that hasn’t been previously used. Recycled pallets are used, refurbished or remanufactured using reclaimed lumber.
